What do I do about my split thumbnail ?
My right thumbnail has a vertical ridge in the middle of it, and as it grows out, it splits. There is no discoloration. What causes this? My nine other fingernails are fine.
My thunbnail doesn’t hurt me at all, unless i snag it on something before I can trim it. And you know what that feels like.
Superglue it together! More seriously – it probably indicates a lack of calcium in your diet. Perhaps you need to drink more milk. I am not a doctor – the problem bothers you – see professional help.
